So, who am I? 

I discovered fanfiction in 2014 and started writing it myself in 2015. My first fanfic was Terri Botta’s Let Love In, and I felt I’d stumbled on the holy grail. I just finished reading the first four Sookie Stackhouse novels, and I was captured, but also disappointed at the direction the books were taking. I read every fanfic story I could, focusing on those with Eric/Sookie relationships. Sure, I dabbled in the occasional Godric/Sookie/Eric story, but I couldn’t turn away from the pairing that made such sense to me.

I ran out of stories that I loved and I got too impatient to wait for others. I had written fanfiction in my early teens, although I hadn’t know what that was, and I sat down one night and said, “Why Not?” I’ve been writing Southern Vampire Mysteries-inspired stories ever since.

If there’s one character I love, it’s Thalia. She is a warrior and will fight without apology for who and what she believes. She is my hero!

My writing has been constant since I started. I have dabbled in writing multiple stories, but I am afraid I’ll need to leave that to writers far more talented than myself. My single brain cell needs to focus on the story at hand. I believe in finishing what I started and barring flood, dread disease or other calamity, I’ll probably stick to the code, and write one story at a time, pushing chapters once a week, and sometimes doubling up on holidays.

I live in the United States, and I write in American (I won’t claim it’s English. It’s not). My stories will have a plot that includes detail, drama and generally a generous dollop of angst. I am a romantic, so there is a happily ever after at the end, because that’s how it’s meant to be!

I do convert stories to .pdf. I have three of the four major stories my Swimming series available for download in .pdf on my WordPress site.

My Stories

 Swimming to the Light (Part 1):  Multi-Chapter story that picks up at the end of Dead Ever After.  The story follows Eric and Sookie as they work their way through the choices made by them and for them.  They enter the world of vampire politics and work their way to return to each other and start a new life. The Far Reach (Part 2):  A sequel to Swimming to the Light.  Eric Northman has been named King of Louisiana and Arkansas.  But the new kingdom is in disarray.  Sookie is now free to be by Eric’s side and they have committed to a life together.  But what does that really mean?  The Far Reach explores the geography of the heart and where two people find ‘home.’ (Complete)

She knows there’s something different about her, but she guards her secret until one day, she finds another who might be like her. The Snow Globe – When Sookie Quinn loses her husband she takes a chance at a new start by moving to New Orleans. What she finds is that sometimes the place you were meant to be is just waiting for you to claim it. (Complete)

 

A Face in the Woods – A Hallowe’en Tale: Sookie stumbles across a story in the Appalachian mountains that tells her about Eric’s earlier days, pre-Revelation. A Hallowe’en tale for telling around a campfire with friends. (Complete)

 

A Heart’s Desire: One shot (Complete) written for 2015 SVM/TB Exchange.What if Eric had been a little more proactive in solving his work problems following the takeover? And what is a certain telepath was a little easier to talk with? An AU of what might have been. (Complete)

It Takes Two: I wrote this for Kinnik a fellow author as a gift during the 2015 SVM/TB story exchange. The prompt Kinnik provided was what if Eric and Sookie had moved in together right away, and then come to realize that all the little things (his possessiveness and control tendencies; her buying at Walmart and compulsively cleaning) were really grating on the other’s nerves? Having jumped into a relationship or two based on physical attraction, the prompt grabbed my interest and this is what happened. Alternate Universe and non-canon! (Complete)

 Tomorrow is Another Day:  One shot set between Lochlan and Neave and the arrival of Appius.  A sweet memory for Eric and Sookie that allows Eric to indulge in his love of costumes and Sookie to indulge in her love of GWTW. (Complete)
